THE HUMBLE HONEY BEE

The sweet sense of Clover tickles my senses, my wings are at a buzz and carry me over the stiles and the fences

Miles and miles i fly, always always so very hard i try

High on the ever flowing highway, you glance but you never see it all my way

Ahead Comfrey plants draw me in, let the memory of the dance begin

I land and sip the sweet nectar with in, then home to the Hive to tell my friends where and when to begin

My Queen is my life, i am but a Drone, i live my short life while she is on her throne

Honey is what i make and on a good year there's more than enough for you to take

This Summer the fields are abundant with Flowers, i hunt there for hours and hours

Rhododendrons, Foxglove, Lavender, Daisies, there's nothing more appealing than the Flowers im heeding

Please look after me the way i look after you, our world won't last forever but it will with out you

So take note and think, i must Pollinate or it will all be to late and with out my work all humanity as we know it will surly sink

Humble am i and give with out question, with out me you'll die i hasten to mention

While i hibernate for the winter i can't wait for the Spring, the things that awaken me are when the song birds start to sing

My dance is enthralling and i let every one know, its Summertime and i have to go

The end is near my job is now done, just look at you and what you've become
